Ziploc VersaGlass Storage Containers
It is safer to store food in glass than plastic, and Ziploc have now come up with tempered glass storage containers that can go into the oven as well as the fridge, freezer and microwave.
The tempered glass is 50% stronger than ordinary glass and can withstand temperatures of up to 400F (204C).
The lids are BPA free plastic and can go into the fridge and freezer (but not oven, only the glass bottoms are oven safe).
The containers make it easy to bake in them, serve and then freeze leftovers ready to be reheated when you are ready - in other words they function in a similar way to anchor hocking storage containers. Both the lids and the glass containers are also dishwasher safe.
The Ziploc containers come in varying sizes - you can either buy the three piece variety pack which has a 64 ounce square container, a 32 ounce square container and a 13 ounce round container, or you can buy individual containers that suit your needs better. See below:
